LA will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with two new episodes airing on CBS 2 and KCAL 9 that will feature appearances by actress Nadine Velazquez and media icon Charo. The episodes will debut on CBS 2 on Saturday, October 5 and Saturday, October 12 (4:30-5:00 p.m. both days). Encore broadcasts on KCAL 9 will air on Sunday, October 6 and Sunday, October 13 (5:00-5:30 p.m. both days). <\/p>\n
The first episode, airing October 5 and 6, will shine a light on Nadine Velasquez\u2019s busy career. She currently stars in TNT\u2019s Major Crimes and also has a recurring role on FX\u2019s The League. She will also discuss playing Luis Guzman\u2019s leading lady in the upcoming Pantelion film Aztec Warrior. <\/p>\n
The episode airing on October 5 and 6 will also highlight the many contributions of Latino luminaries from the American Revolution to present day. Additional features will include an interview with Christina Wall of 360 Style regarding Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and a visit to the Homegirl Caf\u00e9 in downtown Los Angeles that not only serves up delicious food, but also changes lives.<\/p>\n
The second episode, airing on October 12 and 13, will feature an interview with musician, singer, comedienne and actress Charo, who discusses her career as the performer who coined the expression \u201cCuchi-Cuchi,\u201d motherhood and life as an international sex symbol. In addition, Charo will teach the \u00a1HOLA! LA hosts her \u201cshape-up rap song.\u201d <\/p>\n
