In 2012, Boston-based Strong Women, Strong Girls was selected as the first recipient of the initiative. This year, nearly two-dozen nonprofit organizations submitted online applications describing their need for República’s services. A committee representing a cross-section of the agency’s staff thoughtfully reviewed each submission to select three finalists. From the three finalists, each República employee had one vote, and TCRC was selected.

“At República, we have made giving back to community a cornerstone of our culture,” said Jorge A. Plasencia, chairman and CEO. “As we mark our 7th anniversary, we are proud to partner with Triumph Crisis Recovery Center and provide them with marketing and communications support that will aid them in raising awareness of their important mission.”

TCRC is a South Florida-based nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the epidemic of domestic violence against women and children, by stopping individual victimization and reducing the devastating impact of family violence through safety.
