\nAmericanLatino Cinema (AmLC), a non-profit arts and education organization and Boricua Films present films that stimulate dialogue, promote change, and generate a genuine call-for-action. Films that capture the true essence of the American Latino experience\u2014made by and for Latinos\u2014films like Strike One, a drama about a boy who falls victim to California\u2019s controversial Three Strikes Law and the temptations to gang affiliations. This Sacramento premiere screens Strike One, an indie film directed by David Llauger-Meiselman, written by Lawrence Smiglys and Howard Cohen, and stars Danny Trejo, Johnny Ortiz<\/strong>(American Crime, McFarland USA), Maria Isa, Billy Gallo, James Russo, French Stewart, Alma Martinez, Reginald VelJohnson, Lawrence Smiglys, Felipe Alejandro<\/strong> and Mariano Rivera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
