His collaboration with Alex Acuna\u2019s \u201cAcuarelas de Tambores\u201d in the same year also received a Grammy nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Catina DeLuna &amp; Lado B Brazilian Project is an Independent Project crowd funded through the Pledge Music platform (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pledgemusic.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.pledgemusic.com<\/a>) where supporters contribute to the production costs of an independent cd. This cd was produced and recorded in its entirety by DeLuna and Ruiz in their home studio, and proudly features Los Angeles&#8217; most prominent session musicians.<\/p>\n<p>DeLuna, is a celebrated singer, pianist, composer, orchestrator and voice over artist in her native Brazil.
