NEW YORK, NY — June 2, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — The threat of heart disease and stroke is growing substantially among women and girls as rates climb for health factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity, with 6 in 10 U.S. women projected to have at least one type of cardiovascular disease (CVD) by 2050.

This information from a new scientific statement published in “Circulation,” the peer-reviewed, flagship journal of the American Heart Association, a global force changing the future of health for all, points to a rise in CVD that’s in part fueled by increases in other health factors like diabetes and obesity. Nearly 32% of girls ages 2-19 may have obesity by 2050, highlighting the impact even on younger generations.

Findings from the report point to increases among women for all types of CVD, including heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation and stroke.

“Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for women and remains their No. 1 health risk overall,” said Stacey E. Rosen, M.D., FAHA, volunteer president of the American Heart Association and executive director of the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and senior vice president of women’s health at Northwell Health. “While many people may think conditions like high blood pressure are only occurring in older women, we know this is not the case. We know the factors that contribute to heart disease and stroke begin early in life, even among young women and girls. The impact is even greater among those experiencing adverse social determinants of health such as poverty, low literacy, rural residence and other psychosocial stressors. Identifying the types of trends outlined in this report is critical to making meaningful changes that can reverse this course.”

However, there is positive news: Rates of high cholesterol are expected to decline among nearly all groups of women, and improvements are expected in some health behaviors that impact CVD, including healthier eating, more physical activity and less smoking.

The most efficient and effective way to reduce the prevalence of CVD is through prevention, prioritizing optimal health through the four health behaviors (eat better, be more active, quit tobacco and get healthy sleep) and four health factors (manage weight, control cholesterol, manage blood sugar and manage blood pressure) that comprise the American Heart Association’s Life’s Essential 8.

Health Behaviors

Promote healthy choices in the places where people learn, live and receive care, like schools, community centers, pediatric clinics and gynecology offices. Use digital tools, when helpful, to encourage and reinforce positive lifestyle changes.

Health Factors

Managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity early can make a difference, especially for women at higher risk. Work with your health care team to prioritize long-term support for managing these conditions, including early check-ins, team-based care and the use of digital tools that make care easier to access.

Care at Every Life Stage

Each stage of life offers an opportunity to spot risks early and protect heart health. For example, pediatricians should know that early menstrual periods can signal higher future cardiovascular risk. Coordinated care across specialties should be integrated before, during and after pregnancy. Research should continue to explore how lifestyle changes and hormone therapy around menopause impact women’s heart health.

Social and Demographic Factors

Health systems should consider how social challenges – like access to healthy food, transportation or safe housing – combine with medical risks, designing interventions that improve heart health in each setting.

The findings highlight a growing disconnect between rising debt levels and consumer understanding of available debt relief solutions.

According to the survey of 1,005 U.S. adults, 78% of respondents currently carry credit card debt, with nearly 30% owing $10,000 or more. Despite these balances, many consumers still consider their debt “manageable,” which may contribute to delayed action and missed opportunities for early financial intervention.

The survey comes at a time when total U.S. credit card debt has climbed to approximately $1.25 trillion, according to recent data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The findings reinforce growing concerns about how Americans are coping with inflation, rising living costs, and increased reliance on credit cards for everyday expenses.

The survey found that awareness of debt relief solutions varies significantly. While debt consolidation loans and bankruptcy are widely recognized, nearly half of respondents were unaware that nonprofit organizations offer Debt Management Programs (DMPs), and only 37% reported familiarity with DMPs overall.

Additionally, many respondents expressed concerns about how debt relief programs could affect their credit scores, repayment timelines, and monthly costs. These misconceptions appear to contribute to hesitation, even though 70% of participants said they trust nonprofit credit counseling agencies.

The survey also revealed that:

About 1 in 5 respondents would delay seeking help until debt becomes a last resort situation.

6% stated they would never seek professional debt assistance.

Only 39% said they had ever enrolled in a Debt Management Program.

Many consumers begin by researching solutions online or consulting with family and friends before contacting a credit counselor from a non-profit agency.

Debt Management Programs offered through nonprofit credit counseling agencies are designed to help consumers consolidate unsecured debt into one affordable monthly payment while potentially reducing interest rates and fees. Consolidated Credit notes that program fees are capped nationwide and are often significantly lower than consumers expect.

The findings suggest that while financial stress continues to rise, greater consumer education may be necessary to help Americans understand when and how to seek trustworthy guidance before debt reaches crisis levels.

— Community celebration recognizes women of faith, purpose, compassion, leadership, and impact throughout Lake County and Central Florida —

GROVELAND, FL — MAY 29, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell, award-winning national spokesperson, multimedia marketing strategist, and bilingual disability advocate, was honored with the 2026 Woman of Impact (Kingdom Woman) Award during the annual Mood-Setter Social. This gathering is a community-centered celebration. It recognizes women who lead with compassion, positivity, purpose, and meaningful community impact.

The Mood-Setter Social was hosted by Pastor Jodie McCoy, Founder of Mood-Setter Conference and Events and First Lady of Hope International Church in Groveland, Florida. The event brought together women from Lake County and Central Florida for a powerful time of brunch, fellowship, encouragement, fashion, recognition, and spiritual renewal. The 2026 event was headlined by an inspirational guest speaker, Pastor Alexis Stephens Ministries, Inc. The program included a fashion show coordinated by Barbara Davis-Hudson, an in-demand fashion stylist. Created as a space for women to step away from their busy schedules, caregiving responsibilities, and professional demands, the Mood-Setter Social offered refreshment, encouragement, and celebration. The event was also lovingly supported by fellow honoree, Doris Shazier of Shazier Coaching & Consulting, LLC and Dr. Calandria Smith of Landi-Lou Productions.

“I am honored and humbled to have been named one of the 2026 Women of Impact,” said Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell. “To humbly be called a ‘Kingdom Woman’ feels like an invisible embrace and nudge to continue a life dedicated to purpose and service. Especially when your life is dedicated to the service of others, while raising a child with special needs, and living with an illness yourself. Pain and grief have a way of making everything feel isolated and alone. In those moments, love, support, and the true Godly example of “you are welcome here” are vital. Struggles can be turned into victories. Tests into testimonies.”

Dr. Ramos Campbell expressed deep love and gratitude to her spiritual mentors and parents, Sr. Pastors, Dr. Tony and Jodie McCoy. “Hope International’s mission includes the words to change our surrounding community. Pastor Tony’s professional career includes being a Florida Gator. (He will always tell you University of Florida–UF is the best University in the world—LOL!) He is also a retired NFL player. The calling of Pastor was always in his life, but he chose to follow through with that purpose and calling. He could have rested on his already amazing accomplishments, taken care of his own family, and sailed on an orange & blue colored sailboat somewhere, like he rightfully deserved. Instead, he, Pastor Jodie, his children, and his mother did the exact opposite. They chose to care for others. The impact of that choice has positively shifted the lives of countless people around the world. This loving influence is now part of a generational legacy. It began over 20 years ago with the opening of a multicultural church and campus called Hope International.»

“This recognition is not just about an award,” Dr. Ramos Campbell said. “It is about legacy, faith, community, and the continued call to serve. My parents raised me to understand that ministry does not end inside the church walls. It continues in neighborhoods, homes, schools, and families — especially with those who need care, advocacy, and belonging.”

Dr. Ramos Campbell was thankful to be supported at the event by the following fellow VIP (special needs and neurodiverse) mothers, bilingual advocates, and community leaders: Luzel Garcia, Founder of The Dream Academy, a K-12 school serving students with various abilities; Tania Santos, Entrepreneur and Leader with WeSpeak: Parent Support Group of Lake County, (originally founded by friend and community resource Kandi Lynn Alexander); and Barrie Martinez, Advocate, Speaker, and Owner of Amber Treasures at Universal Studios Orlando.

Through Hope Torchlighters and services that will be provided in the new Hope Wellness Center, Dr. Ramos Campbell continues to expand advocacy, inclusion, wellness, and family-centered support for special needs and neurodiverse families. The organization’s growing programs include Buddy Break Respite Care, Beacon of Hope Support Group, VIP Sunday, therapy-based family events, job training, and life skills development. Special Olympics partnerships, bilingual and Spanish parent education events, VIP Mom and VIP Dad gatherings, and community advocacy initiatives are also part of the offerings. “This is the work. This is the mission. This is the legacy. This is the impact,” Dr. Ramos Campbell said.

— The founder of Calderón Law Firm breaks down Real Estate legal anatomy and cross-border asset protection in the U.S. —

MIAMI, FL — May 27, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — In an exclusive edition that redefines the rules of the game for Hispanic capital in South Florida, Hispanic Target Magazine features Dr. María Marta Calderón, founder of Calderón Law Firm, on its May 2026 cover under the corporate and institutional headline «THE STRATEGIST: CALDERÓN LAW FIRM».

Through an in-depth interview, Dr. Calderón—an Argentine-born attorney who graduated with highest academic honors (Summa Cum Laude) from the prestigious University of Miami (UM) School of Law and a former Board Director of the Argentine-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida—exposes the myths and pitfalls of the U.S. legal system. She explains technical concepts detailing how Latin America’s top business minds protect and consolidate their corporate legacy «step by step.» With over twenty years of international experience, including working at top-tier firms within the exclusive Am Law 200 ranking, Calderón has firmly established herself as the trusted advisor for prominent Family Offices and developers in today’s dynamic market.

«The most critical and recurring mistake Latin American business leaders make when investing in Florida Real Estate is assuming that the U.S. legal framework operates with the same informality or under the same logic as in their home countries. The cultural and technical clash between Civil Law and U.S. Common Law can dissolve a lifetime of wealth if a sophisticated asset protection structure is not established from day one,» notes the specialist.

One of the most vital areas analyzed by the specialist is the destructive impact of the Federal Estate Tax. While U.S. citizens and residents enjoy substantially high exemption thresholds, the tax-free limit for non-resident foreign investors is a mere $60,000. Every dollar exceeding this threshold is subject to a progressive federal estate tax of up to 40% on the asset’s total market value. Purchasing properties under an individual’s own name triggers ancillary probate proceedings in Florida courts, freezing assets for months and draining immediate liquidity through severe penalties and automatic withholdings mandated by FIRPTA fiscal regulations.

In this 2026 business landscape, shaped by technological disruption and corporate decentralization, commercial real estate is undergoing exponential growth across Multifamily developments, last-mile logistics centers, and data centers along the corporate corridor between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Facing these highly complex transactions, Calderón Law Firm serves as the definitive bicultural strategic bridge, ensuring meticulous due diligence and robust, binding contracts that fully safeguard cross-border capital. «Asset protection is not a one-time event; it is an ongoing professional relationship built on the pillars of trust, transparency, and rigorous technical work,» the strategist concludes.

MIAMI, FL — May 26, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Negocios magazine launched its new edition with a cover by Gevorg Shahbazyan, CEO of Starlife Group. Shahbazyan positions itself as an actor that supports a comprehensive vision of real estate development, combining strategic planning, technical execution and a business structure designed to respond to the current demands of the sector.

Based in Miami, one of the most dynamic and observed markets in the world, the company has built its identity on a vertical integration model that allows it to cover all stages of the real estate cycle. From land acquisition to construction, marketing, financing and asset management, Starlife Group has consolidated a platform that seeks to reduce the traditional fragmentation of the industry.

Over the years, the company has expanded its portfolio beyond residential projects, incorporating multifamily developments, commercial properties, luxury housing and mixed-use projects. Its presence extends from South Florida to Europe, reflecting an international vocation that dialogues with the global nature of contemporary real estate capital. This diversification not only expands its reach but also allows it to adapt to different economic and urban contexts, maintaining a coherent vision focused on long-term value creation.

«My vision was simple but ambitious: to create a single company that controls all stages of the real estate life cycle: development, construction, financing, mortgages, brokerage, insurance, property management and asset protection, all under one roof. From the investor’s perspective, this means working with a single responsible operator that controls the entire value chain. There are no mutual accusations between suppliers. There are no information gaps between departments. There is one team, one standard, one result,» said Gevorg Shahbazyan, CEO from Starlife Group to Negocios magazine.

— With more than 25 years of combined experience in enterprise expansion, security and innovation, the new Chief Growth Officer and Chief Technology Officer signal continued momentum as Visory Health builds on its recognition as a top-three prescription discount card in the U.S. —

ESTERO, FL — May 26, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Visory Health, a top-three prescription discount card transforming the way Veterans, families, caregivers and underserved individuals access affordable healthcare, today announces the promotion of Alexandra Robertson to Chief Growth Officer and Brittney Tierce to Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Both executives have been integral to Visory Health since its inception, helping build the company into the leading platform it is today.

“I am so excited to work with Brittney and Alexandra as they navigate the complex challenges of the global drug supply chain. Alexandra’s ability to build relationships, forge partnerships and create critical initiatives from the ground up, while continuously evolving our strategies to compete against incumbents in unique ways, is what makes affordable and accessible medications possible for the communities so often left behind. To fulfill that promise, Brittney brings her intellect and creativity to envision, build and scale technology that simplifies the patient journey every step of the way. Congratulations to both Alexandra and Brittney on their well-deserved promotion to officers and C-suite executives,” said Susan Lang, CEO and Founder of Visory Health.

Robertson started at Visory Health as Vice President of Growth and has been a driving force behind the company’s rapid expansion and market presence in more than 38,000 pharmacies nationwide. As CGO, she will oversee growth strategy, partnership development and large-scale efforts to bring Visory Health’s program to more Americans seeking affordable prescription options.

“When a patient can finally fill a prescription they couldn’t afford before, that’s a real health outcome changed. My focus as Chief Growth Officer is closing that gap at scale through strategic partnerships, community presence and program innovation. Visory is positioned to redefine what prescription access looks like for underserved populations, making affordability and access the norm, not the exception,» said Robertson.

Tierce was foundational in creating the proprietary technology Visory Health runs on in her previous role as Senior Vice President of Technology and Security. Now as CTO, she will drive the technology road map enterprise-wide, including security, technology and AI innovation, building key components of the discount card platform that reduce friction for consumers and pharmacy partners and deliver consistent savings at the point of care.

“Technology should be a bridge, not a barrier. I’ve built my career at Visory Health dismantling the systems that stand between patients and affordable medications,” said Tierce. “As Chief Technology Officer, my focus is raising that bar continuously by creating smarter systems, faster delivery and infrastructure that scales access to the communities we serve.”

Both Tierce and Robertson have consistently set the standard for visionary leadership in their respective fields. Tierce received recognition as an LA Times Inspirational Woman, and Robertson won the Orlando Business Journal’s C-Suite Awards and Power Player Awards for their outstanding leadership and accomplishments.

As Visory Health continues to expand its impact, the company is deepening partnerships, broadening its pharmacy network and developing next-generation tools to further reduce prescription costs for Americans. It offers up to 80% off prescription medications, doesn’t require insurance or an account, and is accessible in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
