MIAMI, FL – September 3, 2015 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Friday, September 4th, the opening day of The Home and Design Remodeling Show, attendees can find Street art style for the home at URBAN ArtSpace empowered by The Art Experience. See the work of some of Miami’s most popular Graffiti and street artists, who will collaborate on a live painting performance. Creativity unfolds throughout the weekend with Miami’s finest artist: Don Rimx, Abstrk, Luis Valle, Trek 6, Atomik, Nicole Salagar, Monique Lassooij, and Katey Pener painting solo and collaboratively on a large 30 foot wall canvas that will be donated to ASPIRA Arts DECO, a new charter school in Wynwood dedicated to the Arts and Design.
This historic performance is the first of its kind at the popular Home and Design Remodeling Show. “The Home and Design Remodeling show marks its 40th year, and we are honored to be invited to participate with this creative venue, empowering the artists and the arts. I remember by parents taking me to the show once a year and I was very excited as a child to see so many activations and vendors. This year I believe families will love the live painting performance and give home owners and business owners a new found appreciation of Street art”, stated Susana Baker, Creative Founder of The Art Experience and URBAN ArtSpace venue. Throughout this holiday weekend show attendees will have the opportunity to meet these famous street artists in person. They can learn how street art can be incorporated in their home or business.
Proceeds from this collective fundraiser will benefit their new school arts program opening in 2016 in Wynwood. ASPIRA of Florida has educated inner city children for the past 33 years, their new creative arts program will add to empower the legacy of tomorrow’s creative thinkers and artists.
