
MIAMI – May 06, 2013 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently issued new rules that impact the way brands and agencies can market through social media platforms like blogs, Twitter, Facebook and more.
As part of a new ongoing series of social media and marketing webinars created by the annual Hispanicize event, the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), the Latina Mom Bloggers network and Blogalicious are teaming up for a free national webinar on May 14, titled “The Brands and Bloggers Guide to the New FTC Disclosure Rules.” The webinar will answer the most pressing questions all brands, agencies and bloggers are asking about the updated FTC disclosure rules regarding social media marketing.
The webinar panel consists of Stacey Ferguson, co-founder of Blogalicious and a former Senior Staff Attorney with the Federal Trade Commission who was instrumental in the creation of the original FTC Disclosure Rules; Stephen Chavez, President Elect of the national chapter of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and the founder of the blog LatinoFoodie.com; and Cristy Clavijo-Kish, CEO of Hispanicize digital and partner of Latin Mom Bloggers.
