

SAN FRANCISCO – December 9, 2013 – Educational tech startup StudyRoom, part of the Imagine K12’s third cohort, was selected as the winner of the Latino Startup Alliance’s First Annual Innovator Summit Pitch Competition that took place last week in San Francisco.

The Latino Startup Alliance, LSA, is an organization that encourages the inspiration and cultivation of U.S. Latino-led technology ventures by providing a strong support network. LSA’s Innovator Summit brought together tech entrepreneurs with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and mentors for two days of keynotes, talks, workshops, pitches, and networking to help support Latino startups all over the world.

StudyRoom will be officially launching at five universities including Malca’s alma matter San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Pennsylvania State University, UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley.
