Bilingual and Latinx households are growing at a rapid rate in the United States, prompting demand for media that showcases the nuances of these groups. Airing on Lifetime Network, BELatina TV is the first TV morning show targeting bicultural and Latinx households.
Filmed in BrandStar, BELatina TV features an entirely bilingual cast. The host and co-host are Dr. Karent Sierra and James Tahhan (also known as Chef James), respectively. Each host brings their distinct cultural experiences; Dr. Karent Sierra is Colombian-American and James is Syrian-Venezuelan.
Entertaining, educating, and empowering is BELatina TV’s mission. Each episode explores exciting topics and gives candid advice on what matters to women, especially those from the Latinx community. BELatina TV tells culturally relevant stories that provide a unique perspective on life’s challenges and gives great solutions that positively impact the women’s lives.
The premiere episode is a nod to the upcoming excitement around football, where it will focus on sharing tips and fun advice on how to prepare for the Big Game.

This Big Game Day special will include many fun and entertaining segments. Food creations using the Avocados From Mexico brand and an empowering segment, thanks to El Dorado Furniture, will be featured.
