MIAMI, FL – February 21, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Hispanicize 2017 today announced the launch of the “Second Annual Latino Perfect Pitch,” a national small business pitch competition where participants will have the opportunity to present their business ideas to a panel of small business expert judges. One participant will win a $5,000 grand prize at Hispanicize 2017 (http://hispanicizeevent.com/), the national Latino influencers and trendsetters event that will take place April 3-6 in Miami.

“The Latino Perfect Pitch” is a small business competition for entrepreneurs seeking an opportunity to take their business ideas to the next level with the opportunity to win $5,000 to fund the development of their company and brand. The competition, sponsored by Wells Fargo, is open to small business owners who have been in business no more than five years and are planning to attend Hispanicize 2017.

To participate in “The Latino Perfect Pitch” small business pitch competition, interested individuals must complete the simple submission form at https://goo.gl/forms/qWNLiFjI6MLV7K4J3 and provide the following supporting items: a one to two-minute video introduction, a brief business plan description, a bio and headshot as well as a case study (if applicable). The deadline to enter is March 10, 2017. The competition is open to small business owners, regardless of ethnic heritage/background.

“We aim to discover three great finalists who can present a grand prize idea that’s dynamic, viable and scalable,” said Hispanicize Media Group CEO Manny Ruiz, a serial entrepreneur. “The advantage of our competition is the prestige of presenting at Hispanicize.”

The three finalists will present their concepts live on stage at Hispanicize 2017 on Wednesday, April 5, for the chance to win $5,000 to fund their business expansion, and $1,500 in press release distributions from Hispanicize Wire.

“Supporting entrepreneurs as they continue to build and grow their businesses continues to be one of our goals,” said Xochitl Leon, Hispanic segment strategy leader at Wells Fargo. “By participating in the Latino Perfect Pitch, entrepreneurs gain exposure to coaching, resources and valuable feedback from a panel of expert judges as they work on expanding their businesses.
