MIAMI, Florida – January 20, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The global movement for humanity kicked-off its nationwide Day of Unity campaign today in Miami, FL and announced the schedule of future celebrations in major cities across the country. With the support of a coalition of businesses, local organizations and thousands of volunteers, unite4:good Day of Unity events are focused on bringing communities together in an effort to promote a unified sustained movement for positive social change.

Day of Unity celebrations consist of a variety of service activities during the day, ranging from painting murals to art therapy workshops in multiple locations throughout the host cities. All activities are focused on giving people the opportunity to inspire, empower and share. The day’s` events are followed by an evening celebration, where all volunteers and organizations are hosted and recognized.
At the inaugural unite4:good Day of Unity – Miami popular performing artist Flo Rida is closing today’s activities with a live performance at Miami’s famed Ice Palace Studios to thank all those that participated and encourage others to join the movement.
“It is a worthwhile goal to identify, generate and promote opportunities for service and kindness that are available to everyone regardless of religion, nationality, social status or creed,” said Flo Rida. “The alliance of likeminded opinion shapers in Miami has inspired impactful ideas that are serving as an inspirational model for the nation.”
