The Estrellas Digitales Awards Show was created by entrepreneur Jairo Cruz, President of DALCROMA, LLC and is produced by Permanent Shows, Inc the production house of Fernando Arau, Executive Producer of the awards show.
Jairo stated that he is pleased to open the window to philanthropy this year by donating a portion of the proceeds to a nonprofit organization. The nonprofit selected is “SIMANOF” (Simon Orchestral Foundation), an organization dedicated to motivating and enriching children’s lives through musical instruction.
The success reached in previous editions of Estrellas Digitales was overwhelming and in only three years this platform has become an unexpected phenomenon and the most anticipated digital event of the year for Latino influencers. The 2018 awards reached more than 30 million people and is expected to surpass those numbers this year.
On August 29th, live from the Ashe Auditorium at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, hundreds of thousand and probably millions, will be able to view the simultaneous transmission of the Estrellas Digitales Awards Show on Facebook Live, Instagram Live, YouTube Live and the estrellasdigitales.com website via the new mobile app. Innovation will be one of the stars of the third edition of the awards show and it has been designed to be produced and transmitted with mobile technology.
The innovative technology this year will be the transmission of the event live on social media using 10 Motorola mobile phones powered by Cricket Wireless. The design and features of the event in 2019 make it unique in its genre.
For the first time in the history of the event, nominations were open to the public and the public also participated in voting for the finalists along with the Host Committee composed of leading journalists, presenters, publicists, experts in personal branding and digital marketing, who not only took the number of followers of the finalist into consideration, but also evaluated engagement and considered as principal criteria the quality of the content and its positive impact on society.
