MIAMI, FL – February 8, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Wells Fargo and the seventh annual Hispanicize event are joining forces to launch the first annual “The Latino Perfect Pitch”, a national small business pitch competition where participants will have the opportunity to present their business plans to a panel of small business expert judges. One participant will win a $5,000 grand prize at Hispanicize 2016 (www.HispanicizeEvent.com), the national Latino influencers and trendsetters event that will take place April 4-8 in Miami.

“The Latino Perfect Pitch” is a small business competition for entrepreneurs and bloggers seeking an opportunity to take their business to the next level with a chance to win $5,000 to fund the development of their business and brand. The competition is open to all small business owners whether they recently launched their venture or have been in business no more than five years and are planning to attend Hispanicize 2016. To participate in “The Latino Perfect Pitch” small business pitch competition, interested individuals must complete the submission form at http://bit.ly/1PrIcZ9 and provide the following supporting items: one-minute video introduction, business plan, a bio and headshot as well as a case study, if applicable. The deadline to enter is March 7, 2016. The competition is open to everybody, regardless of ethnic heritage/background.

“The competition will recognize three entrepreneurs/bloggers who present an idea that’s both viable and clever enough to scale,” said Hispanicize CEO Manny Ruiz, a true entrepreneur with more than 10 startups under his belt. “This competition is perfect for the legions of content creators, technologists and journalists who converge at Hispanicize and who simply need that extra spark to raise capital, gain national exposure and/or secure more customers. We can’t wait to showcase their businesses.”

The three finalists will present their concepts live on stage at Hispanicize 2016 on Thursday, April 7th for the chance to win $5,000 to fund their idea, $1,500 in press release distributions from Hispanicize Wire and national media exposure.

“We are committed to working closely with today’s innovators and entrepreneurs to help them build and grow their businesses,” said Mariela Ure, head of Hispanic segment strategy at Wells Fargo and Hispanicize 2016 board member. “The Latino Perfect Pitch is more than a contest – it is an opportunity to provide the winner resources, valuable coaching and access to a panel of experts to help them strengthen their business.”
