MIAMI, FL – July 10, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Summertime is the most sacred bonding season for lifestyle and family blogger Manny Ruiz of Papiblogger.com. This Friday Manny, his wife Angela and their four kids will embark on a majestic 1,400-mile All-American road trip through Utah and Colorado, July 11-21, sponsored by State Farm, Best Western and Toyota.
“Adding Utah to our collection of states is great because we’ve been to 45 of the 50 states, but the best part of these milestones are the great family memories we get to make because we cherish those for a lifetime”
With this road trip the PapiBlogger clan will eclipse the cumulative 30,000-mile mark for driving, a milestone.
“Adding Utah to our collection of states is great because we’ve been to 45 of the 50 states, but the best part of these milestones are the great family memories we get to make because we cherish those for a lifetime,” said Ruiz, who in addition to publishing PapiBlogger is the founder of the Hispanicize platform of companies that includes the Hispanicize 2015 event and the Latina Mom Bloggers network. “We’re very grateful to our sponsors for making this trip possible and especially to State Farm who for the second year in a row is partnering with us as our title sponsor.”
#DRONIES, giveaways and social media
In the spirit of social media storytelling, PapiBlogger will be chronicling his family’s exploits daily through the hashtags #RoadtripProTips and #SafeSummer (@PapiBlogger on Instagram and Twitter), on Facebook, on YouTube and, of course, through PapiBlogger.com.
To spice things up along the way PapiBlogger is partnering with State Farm to host various travel-related challenges and giveaways that include two $150 gift cards, three trunk safety kits and other goodies.
Building on a brand new social media trend, PapiBlogger this time will even take followers to the sky for special aerial, drone camera videos called #dronies. Some of the expected viewpoints include Four Corners Monument, Monument National Park, Zion National Park and Arches National Park.
The 2014 summer road trip also marks the first time that PapiBlogger collaborates with Toyota. The 2014 PapiMobile is a 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. PapiBlogger will be staying almost exclusively at Best Western hotels, the national hotel chain that he personally represents as a spokesperson and blogger of YouMustBeTrippin.com.
During this year’s family trip – like others past – history, geography, science and even photography will be in session for Jonathan (14), Elena (10), Briani (5) and Naomi (2). The lessons of traveling – and enduring – together as a family are part of why the road trips have become one of the most important traditions the Ruiz family works hard to repeat every summer.
“Even though this isn’t a 12,000 mile road trip like the epic one we did in 2010, we don’t take these trips for granted because they are all challenging and precious in their own ways,” said Manny’s wife Angela Sustaita-Ruiz, who in addition to being the lead driver for the trip is also the Co-CEO of the Latina Mom Bloggers network.
