MIAMI, FL – March 24, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Burson Latino, the U.S. Hispanic practice of leading global strategic communications and public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, and Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Entertainment & Design Technology (SEDT) are coming together to produce digital content from Hispanicize 2016, and livestream the Second Annual Tecla Awards.
“We are thrilled to once again be part of the most important Hispanic market industry event reaching more digital influencers, Latino journalists and marketers than any conference of its kind,” said Jorge Ortega, Executive Vice President and Burson Latino lead. “Hispanicize is a natural fit for Burson Latino. This event is a truly exceptional platform where influencers, brands, filmmakers, musicians and marketers can learn, share and grow together.”
MDC’s SEDT students will work with Burson-Marsteller and use StudioB, its fully integrated, real-time, data-driven center of creativity, content production and distribution to produce multiplatform daily news digests of all Hispanicize activities throughout the week-long conference. In addition, StudioB Live and the MDC crew will produce and livestream – via Hispanicize’s YouTube channel – the second annual Tecla Awards, recognizing the best social media campaigns and digital influencers in the Hispanic market, to be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 in downtown Miami.
“Burson-Marsteller’s world-class communications expertise combined with the unparalleled creative production capabilities of my alma mater, MDC, will help us capture and curate the most compelling content for our attendees and sponsors,” said Manny Ruiz, Hispanicize CEO.
Burson-Marsteller Miami’s collaboration with MDC is part of an existing partnership, launched in 2015, to complement the capabilities of the Florida-based StudioB team with SEDT’s extensive audio-visual production, photography and animation resources. This collaboration also offered MDC student-interns real-world experience working with Burson-Marsteller Miami staff.
The seventh-annual Hispanicize event (www.HispanicizeEvent.com) will be held from April 4-8 in downtown Miami’s InterContinental hotel.
Altogether, Hispanicize 2016 Week features a record-breaking 220+ speakers in 100+ sessions, workshops, fireside chats and keynotes.
