NEW YORK, NY – March 7, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Fox News Latino and ESPN One Nación are uniting to co-sponsor the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ Student Journalist Project at Hispanicize 2016.
The NAHJ Student Journalist Project is part of the NAHJ’s first ever national convention for Spanish-speaking journalist that is being launched within the 7th annual Hispanicize, April 4-8, 2016, in downtown Miami. The journalism project pairs students from universities across the country with full time journalists to produce daily news content from Hispanicize 2016 for the news platforms of Hispanicize, Fox News Latino and/or ESPN One Nación.
This year’s NAHJ Student Journalist Project is being curated by Hugo Balta, senior director of multicultural content at ESPN and immediate past president of the NAHJ, in partnership with Francisco Cortes, Vice President, Fox News Latino.
