FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – December 11, 2020 – (LATINX NEWSWIRE) – On Wednesday, December 9, Deliver the Dream gave out over 250 toys to 50 South Florida families looking for some extra help this holiday season. The event, the Toy Chest, gave parents the opportunity to choose what toy they wanted to give their child/ren. “We made it into a personalized shopping experience,” states Maureen Kohler, Development Director of Deliver the Dream. “Our families were completely shocked with the variety and quality of toys we provided. Our community partners really went above and beyond to help make this program a success.”
Carolina Veira, Director of Community and Corporate Partnerships for IMC Health Medical Centers, states “At IMC Health, we are proud to extend a helping hand to the communities we serve daily. We know these toys will bring joy to kids and their families during these challenging times. Thank you to Deliver the Dream for giving IMC Health the opportunity to continue making a difference in people’s lives.”
To mitigate the impact of COVID-19, Deliver the Dream created new programs, like the Toy Chest, to support families in need. A special thank you to IMC Health Medical Centers, Society Las Olas and Little Smiles for supporting this program.
