BURBANK, CA – October 5, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – EstrellaTV, the largest privately held, minority-owned Spanish broadcasting television network in the U.S. announces the nominees and date for its “2017 Premios de la Radio” awards ceremony.
On Thursday, October 5th, EstrellaTV announced the nominees for the largest and single-handedly most important awards show that honors, recognizes and celebrates regional Mexican music in the U.S.
The announcement took place at a press conference at EstrellaTV’s Burbank studios, and was hosted by internationally renowned music producer and star maker Pepe Garza, director and founder of Premios de la Radio and program director for La Que Buena Radio 105.5/94.3 FM in Los Angeles. Special guests, who joined Garza in announcing this year’s nominees, included Don Cheto Al Aire’s radio co-host Gisselle Bravo, and some of today’s hottest regional Mexican recording superstars such as Joss Favela, Ulices Chaidez y Sus Plebes, Cornelio Vega, as well as Julión Alvarez from Mexico.
Premios de la Radio, now in its eighteenth year, will take place on Thursday, November 9th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California and will be televised live by EstrellaTV Network. The show has consistently been a #1 ratings success for EstrellaTV. Premios de la Radio is the highest rated show of the year for the network.
