LOS ANGELES, CA – October 3, 2018 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) –Hispanicize, the largest annual event for Latinx trendsetters and influencers presented by Prudential Financial, today announced the launch of its inaugural Latinx Creators Meet & Greet. The historic event marks the first time since the event’s inception that organizers are opening doors to fans and consumers, allowing them to purchase tickets to the event for a chance to meet some of their favorite Latinx social media stars in person.
“Hispanicize has always been an industry-only event. We purposefully created it that way and pride ourselves in what we’ve built over the last nine years,” said Katherine Johnson-Gunn, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Hispanicize Events. “The social media industry has evolved since our first event in 2010 and it only made sense that we evolved with it.”
“Opening the doors to consumers was a natural stepping stone towards what Hispanicize Event is to become: an industry event first with an expo hall and entertainment track that is accessible to consumers and fans of our incredible Latinx talent,” said Cristy Clavijo Kish, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Hispanicize Events.
The Hispanicize LA Latinx Creators & Meet & Greet reception is taking place on Saturday, October 13th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City from 4pm-8pm, and will include a very exclusive appearance of one of the first Latinx creators and pop-culture bloggers, Perez Hilton.
“This unique event will give attendees the opportunity to not only meet these social personalities, but also hang out with them in a creative fun environment that will allow them to learn more about these content creators. Connecting influencers with their followers in person will definitely generate a stronger bond that could last longer,” said Jose Resendez, Programming Curator & Talent Relations of the Meet & Greet and Content Creators Track.
Drinks, bites, music, merch pop-ups, autographs and all the #selfies you can manage, will be part of the program. In addition, some of Hollywood’s hottest Latinx celebrities will be making surprise appearances throughout the evening.
