LOS ANGELES, CA – September 25, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Organizers of Hispanicize L.A. and Oi2Go, a U.S. Hispanic provider of streaming films, TV series and podcasts, today unveiled the Latino Filmmakers Showcase of the Oct. 4th event that features celebrities, producer sessions, networking, and two screenings. The multi-industry Hispanicize L.A. (www.HispanicizeLA.com) event will take place at L.A.’s The Line Hotel.

Film Screening Kicks Off Hispanicize L.A.
Hispanicize L.A. will kick off on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd with an opening reception and special advanced screening of Hispanicize Pictures’ ‘Hold On’ that is being presented by Black Hollywood Film Fund and Joule Entertainment in partnership with Oi2Go, the California Chicano News Media Association (CCNMA), Latino Filmmakers Network and Latin Heat Media.
The screening will feature the film’s stars, which include legendary character actor Luis Guzman, hip hop legend Flavor Flav and General Hospital icon Maurice Benard. The actors will be joined by director/actor/producer Tarek Tohme and lead actress/producer Micayla de Ette.

Storyteller’s Pitch Breakfast Highlights Packed Filmmakers Agenda
The Latino Filmmakers Showcase commences Oct. 4th with a Storyteller’s Pitch Breakfast for Latino Filmmakers. The filmmaker’s-only breakfast will pair them with producers who are looking for Latino-centric content of all genres, including docs, features and shorts, in English and Spanish. Producers from Oi2Go and other platforms will be on hand to meet and talk with filmmakers.
