NEW ORLEANS, LA – January 16, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Hispanicize Media Group CEO and Founder Manny Ruiz has been tapped to present one of the prestigious keynotes at the 9th annual New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW), March 19-24.
A serial founder of more than 12 media communications companies, three of which he sold in 2007 for $5.5 million to the publically traded company United Business Media, Ruiz will present a keynote address titled “Finding Your Inner Pigeon” on March 22.
“I’m especially honored about this opportunity because I’ve never keynoted in front of a major festival audience like New Orleans Entrepreneur Week and I’ve never delved into the topic of building niche businesses,” said Ruiz.
In his keynote speech, Manny will unpack how being pigeon-holed early in his career because of his Latino background became his very inspiration for creating niche, nationally renowned businesses that today are the undisputed leaders in the U.S. Hispanic social media and marketing industry.
NOEW celebrates business and innovation with more than 15,000 attendees throughout the week of March 19-24. The event includes showcases, workshops, panel discussions, pitch competitions and networking events and culminates with “The Big Idea” entrepreneur pitch.
In addition to Ruiz, NOEW 2017 will include keynotes from:
Lisa Atia – creative brand strategist at Blavity
Chef John Besh – founder and restaurateur of John Besh Foundation
