HOUSTON, Texas – July 24, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – In the spirit of entrepreneurship that will converge in Houston, July 29th for Hispanicize Texas, organizers today announced that they will host a Latina Creative Entrepreneurs Marketplace onsite called El Mercadito.

The El Mercadito will provide Latino creative entrepreneurs from around the state with an opportunity to showcase and sell their unique handcrafts, artwork, books and more.

“We are very excited to collaborate with Hispanicize to bring together artists and artisans from across the state of Texas and beyond to showcase the tremendous talent and ingenuity of our community,” says Anjelica Cazares, Creative Director of Big Oak Tree Media and Content Creator at Juan of Words. “El Mercadito will bring a unique and signature experience to the first Hispanicize Texas event.”

“Being Tejana is something special. It’s a point of pride, a badge of honor, a way of life,” says Vianney Rodriguez the co-creator of the Soy Tejana Store that will participate in the Mercadito. “From our “Raised on Selena” Tees to our “No Manches” mugs, everything in our shop is a loving nod to our Tejana roots.
