MIAMI, FL — September 13, 2023 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Mónica Moro, founder and Creative Director of This is Libre and president of the Creative Club of Spain, is the president of the Jury in the Formats Discipline of the Ibero-American Festival of Creativity, #FIAP2023. During the last week of September, she will lead the deliberations with the metal juries in that discipline that will define the awarded works.
Formats is a discipline that has a special place in Moro’s heart. For her, it is, without a doubt, the sexiest at the festival. “It is in this search for new formats where great ideas are born, creativity flows, and the creative can look better.”
She added that the limits of Formats are blurry, which opens a compelling window of discussion in the jury. “That, in the end, is very positive because of the great learning it triggers.”
She also highlighted the importance of presenting outstanding ideas beyond the format to succeed in this category.
Moro has been a FIAP’s jury in previous editions, so she values the +50-years festival. “For me, FIAP is one of the most emblematic festivals of our industry. Due to its tradition, it has gathered a great experience on the evolution of Latin advertising worldwide.”
She said that the different and diverse perspective that FIAP provides is relevant, given the homogenization she perceives in advertising events. “The Latin vision gives an air of freshness to creative work.”
Regarding the creative level of the region, Moro highlighted quality, but she also pointed out a concern. “I continue to observe we are presenting ideas designed for festivals. It is important to develop impactful ideas that help solve marketing problems for big brands and that the day-to-day work is what must be rewarded at festivals.”
In September 2022, Mónica Moro and Félix Vicente launched This is Libre, a community designing teams of the best professionals with proven experience and talent who share the same philosophy and values, work collaboratively and are integrated with the client’s management and marketing teams to help them grow their business.
