HOUSTON, TX – May 2, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Today, Hispanicize HX Texas announced it will host an official Hispanicize Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Houston on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Center Stage Gallery in Sugar Land, Texas. This event will mark the first time Hispanicize has hosted an official celebration of this occasion in the state of Texas. Hispanicize HX Texas is the Lone Star State’s local affiliate of the annual Hispanicize event.

Hispanicize is the iconic, largest annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in digital content creation, journalism, marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship.

Poised to bring together top digital influencers from across the state of Texas, the #HispanicizeHX Cinco de Mayo Celebration will take place at 3527 Highway 6, Suite 250, Sugar Land, Texas 77478, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is sponsored in part by Center Stage Gallery, Live Oak Grill, Sugar Land’s own Imperial Sugar, Big Oak Tree Media, Sandra Says Media, and Soalz Entertainment.

“Texas is a huge market. Not only in terms of its socioeconomic prowess – specifically that of which is generated by its Latino residents – but also as an incredible hub for young and talented tech digital influencers and entrepreneurs,” said Manny Ruiz, founder of the national Hispanicize Event. “We’re excited to bring this innovative community together for the first of what we hope will be many more future Hispanicize events across the state of Texas.”

Hispanicize HX Texas was launched in December 2015 to represent Latino trendsetters in the state of Texas. Latinos in Texas account for $240.7 billion in purchasing power, generate $61.9 billion in revenue from Latino owned businesses, support 395,673 jobs in the state of Texas, and represent 38.4 percent of the Lone Star State’s total population.

Future Hispanicize HX Texas events in San Antonio, Dallas and Austin will be announced at a later date on the organization’s public Facebook Group Page.
