BURBANK, CA – April 5, 2017- (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – LBI Media, the fastest growing, minority owned Spanish language broadcasting company in the U.S. announced that in the past three years it has raised a cumulative total of over $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®.
This year marks the third consecutive year that LBI Media’s KTJM-FM 98.5 “La Raza” and KQQK-FM 107.9 “El Norte” in Houston, Texas have aired the two-day radiothon bringing a cumulative total raised to over $1 million. Every dollar raised will go directly to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which benefits underserved, low-income children who require critical medical attention. The total raised this year was $240,000.
This year for the first time, LBI Media included its Dallas radio stations KNOR-FM 93.7 “La Raza” and KBOC-FM 98.3 “Luna” as part of this two-day radiothon. The radiothons in both markets were held from March 30th to the 31st and aired uninterrupted from 5 AM to 7 PM. The funds raised locally in the Dallas market will benefit the Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
