NEW YORK, NY – July 13, 2020 – (LATINX NEWSWIRE) – Diana Franco, Executive Director of Women Entrepreneur of New York City (WE NYC) will receive the Small Business Champion Award during the Virtual 2020 Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Summit organized by Latinas in Business Inc., on July 30, 2020 between 1pm and 2:30pm EST. National and international speakers will interact with participants in an inspirational event that promotes “The Power of Collaborations in a Post-COVID World.” The event will be Livestreamed on Zoom, Facebook and LinkedIn, and is co-hosted by Prospanica NJ Chapter.

“This is the second year we recognize 12 Latinas who have been working hard in the trenches to lead organizations, grow their businesses and build up their communities. More than ever, during this pandemic and profound economic crisis, we want to bring their stories to the forefront, not because they are powerful or lead global businesses but because they are innovators, creators and committed to make their dreams happen,” Baumann said.

They include Dr. Ginny A. Baro, founder and CEO, ExecutiveBound (NJ); Maria del Pilar Avila, Founder and CEO, RENOVAD and InterDuctus (CA); Daphany Rose Sanchez, Founder and President, Kinetic Communities (NY); Victoria Jenn Rodriguez, VJR Enterprises (NY); Mariangelic Martinez, Co-owner, Martinez Martial Arts and Winner of the 2019 Latinas in Business Pitch Competition (NJ); and Paulina Lopez, Founder and CEO, The Business of WE (NY).

When we collaborate, a new energy is created that is ‘bigger than our individual efforts.’ Effectively putting together resources, energy, talents and goals paves the way for the success that we plan together, as well as many unexpected benefits.”

Latinas in Business is asking for a full support to their Costa Rica GIVEAWAY, in collaboration with RENOVAD Experiential Retreats, a company that offers the opportunity for one lucky winner to participate in the 2021 Costa Rica PURA VIDA Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa Giveaway.
