HOUSTON, Texas – July 28, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The Hispanicize event’s Artist on the Rise platform will make its Hispanicize Texas debut with a closing bash performance by The Voice finalist Valerie Ponzio at Houston’s iconic Henke & Pillot, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. this Saturday.

Presented by Latina CEO and in partnership with Kaleidoscope Houston and Henke & Pillot, the event will feature a major networking and music evening packed with notable cultural influencers. Henke & Pillot will offer complimentary drinks and light snacks for all Hispanicize Texas badge holders.

Ponzio was featured on this year’s season of The Voice and since her appearance has moved to Nashville, where she is pursuing her love of country music as one of the music genre’s few Latina singers. “Being from the Texas border has shaped my perspective and voice,” Ponzio said. “I’m excited to share my music with Texas notables and with country music lovers.”

“Latina CEO is aligned with Hispanicize’s mission to enrich and empower Latino entrepreneurs,” said Latina CEO founder Janie Gonzalez, the tech entrepreneur and CEO of San Antonio’s Webhead Group. “We’re honored to bring quality content and networking opportunities to help Latinas and Latinos grow and prosper.”

As part of the fun and networking-packed evening, Kaleidoscope Houston is creating an interactive experience where guests can paint “The Traveling Live Art Canvas” which was created by Multifaceted Artist and Kaleidoscope Houston Filmmaker, Narciso Palma. The Traveling Live Art Canvas will be placed at Houston City Hall during the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month festivities.

Said Pamela Andino, Founder/Creative Director of Kaleidoscope Houston, the event’s largest organizational partner this year at Hispanicize Texas: “We are thrilled to host and showcase emerging Texas talent at Hispanicize Texas. Our Lone Star State houses a huge breadth of creative talent and Hispanicize Texas is a great platform for them to be seen and celebrated.” Special guest DJ Rikki Rincon, whom is also the Founder/Creative Director of Creative Juice Online will entertain the guests during the evening.
