LOS ANGELES, CA – April 12, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Moen Incorporated, the #1 faucet brand in North America (www.moen.com) today announced that it will assist East LA Community Corporation (www.elacc.org) in its 20-year mission to provide affordable housing for residents in East Los Angeles. Moen has been a contributing partner with ELACC since 2011.
Through Alcanzando Sueños con Moen (ASCM), (“Achieving Dreams with Moen”), Moen will donate state-of-the-art and water-saving kitchen and bathroom fixtures for 50 units of the Cielito Lindo Apts being developed by ELACC in 2016. Located at 2407-2421 East 1st Street in Boyle Heights, Cielito Lindo apartments will be a 63,990 square feet mixed-use transit-oriented development with retail, affordable rental housing including units set aside for low-income families. The ASCM program helps lower the costs associated with the remodeling and construction of new housing development projects.
