Texas Latino Digital Influencers Team Up to Launch National Podcast

HOUSTON, TX – September 7, 2015 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Today, the nationally renowned Latino digital influencers behind Juan of Words and Sandra Says announced a new media collaboration to produce a weekly podcast on iTunes and internet radio: “The Little Radio Show” (TLRS). This radio show combines the talents of co-hosts Juan Alanis and Anjelica Cazares – founders of the leading U.S. Hispanic lifestyle blog on Mexican living, Juan of Words – with those of Sandra Fernandez – top social media influencer in the country via Sandra Says and founder of the Houston lifestyle website, HispanicHouston.com.

The Little Radio Show is available on iTunes and at thelittleradioshow.com, and is also broadcast on HMSNetRadio.org every Thursday at 2 pm (CST).

“‘The Little Radio Show’ takes a look at what’s hot in current events, entertainment, social media and technology, as well as Latino lifestyle. The show segments include interviews with community members and topic experts,” said Fernandez, TLRS producer and co-host. “With 17% of Americans listening to podcasts every month, we wanted to make certain we offered the show as a podcast as well. Episodes are available on iTunes and on thelittleradioshow.com within hours of running on HMSnetRadio.org.”

The official launch of TLRS took place in Houston, Texas this month and was attended by community members, social media influencers, and members of the press. The launch event was sponsored by The Kroger Co., Pisco Portón and Talento Bilingue De Houston.

“Launching this national program has been a tremendous experience so far. ‘The Little Radio Show’ is about friends having conversations and sharing those conversations with the world,” said Alanis, TLRS co-host. “We want our audience to be as much a part of the conversation as we are.”

“People often ask us ‘why podcasting?’ The answer to that question is really quite simple,” added Cazares, co-host of TLRS. “The idea was born from the great conversations we were already having with friends. This platform allows us to share our voice and to amplify the voices of those doing great things in our communities.” TLRS highlights “small talk about big topics.”
