This time, it’s the heart of New York City that will pulsate with the infectious rhythms and enduring legacy of the legendary Tito Puente.
After a captivating series of events in Puerto Rico that spanned from September 25 to October 8, 2023, “Celebrate Tito Puente” now extends its mission of honoring the King of Latin Music’s remarkable contributions to Latin music with an extraordinary concert at the iconic Palladium Times Square. This special event is scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2023, at 8 p.m.
Tito Puente Jr. and his orchestra will take center stage, promising an electrifying evening filled with Latin music, dance, and pure entertainment. The lineup also features a stellar cast of artists, including Luis Damón, Brenda K. Starr, Frankie Negron, Alfredo de la Fé, and The Eddie Torres Dancers.
The “Celebrate Tito Puente” series has been a heartfelt tribute to the enduring legacy of Tito Puente on what would have been his 100th birthday this year. From the unveiling of the Tito Puente Suite at José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum to the grand symphonic celebration at the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré, each event has left audiences in awe of the King of Latin Music’s impact on music and culture.
