
CORAL GABLES, Florida – October 23, 2013 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – CINE! Chilean Film Festival 2013 presents the South East premiere of the acclaimed film “Gloria”, winner of the Silver Bear Award for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival, and a pre-nominee for the Spanish Goya and Foreign Language Oscar awards.
CINE! will take place at the University of Miami’s Cosford Cinema (5030 Brunson Drive in Coral Gables) from November 7th to 10th, 2013.
The event is produced and presented by Andromeda Productions with the valuable support of the Consulate General of Chile in Miami, and DIRAC, the Cultural Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, with the participation of TV Chile, network that reaches 25 countries.
GONZALO JUSTINIANO PRESENTS ‘ALGUIEN HA VISTO A LUPITA?’
Gonzalo Justiniano, veteran Chilean director, will visit as a special guest to present the South East Premiere of “¿Alguien ha visto a Lupita?” (Have you seen Lupita?)
The film features actors Cristian de la Fuente, Carmen Salinas, Dulce Maria, and Angelica Castro, and will be screened on Sunday, November 10th, at 5:30 PM.
MARCELO ALONSO, STARRING IN ’03:34 TERREMOTO EN CHILE’ and ‘LA MUJER DE IVAN’
Marcelo Alonso, a prolific Chilean actor recognized for his character roles in film, television and theater, will arrive from Chile to present two of the films in CINE!’s lineup.
’03:34 Terremoto en Chile’ (03:34 Earthquake in Chile) will be screened on Saturday, November 9th at 3:30, and ‘La Mujer de Ivan’ (Ivan’s Woman) will premiere the same day at 7:30 pm.
CINE! LOUNGE
CINE! goes beyond the screenings, offering many chances to share and socialize. A “CINE! Lounge” area will welcome moviegoers on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., offering Q&A sessions, food and beverages, and a place to seat and chat in a festive atmosphere, benefiting the Student Home Cardinal Oviedo in Quinta Normal, Santiago, Chile.
JORGE HEVIA AND ‘CONECTADOS’
TV CHILE, the international channel of TVN, Television Nacional de Chile, will send his cameras and his recognized talent Jorge Hevia, anchor of the weekly show “CONECTADOS”, to cover CINE!’s activities. They will have live interaction with the guests present at the CINE! Lounge on Saturday, November 9th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

CINE! Chilean Film Festival reaches its fourth edition in Miami. Chilean filmmaker Emilia Anguita, founder of CINE!, has promoted Chilean cinema abroad. Anguita has written, produced and directed award winning shorts, documentaries and telenovelas. She studied in Fine Arts in Chile and relocated to Miami in 1999, after developing her film and television career in Venezuela.
She is the president of Andromeda Productions, a full-service video marketing production house located in the Wynwood Art District in Miami, the same organization that produces and presents CINE! Chilean Film Festival.
