FRESNO, CA – September 5, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The Crafty Chica, Kathy Cano-Murillo, debuts her Fall 2014 collection today at selected Michael’s stores, and kicks off her national appearance tour. Now in its seventh year, the new Crafty Chica product line celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de Los Muertos. Kathy, an artist, novelist and celebrated blogger, designed all the items that include decorative papers, canvas tote bags, a face paint kit, appliqués and more.
“I love that they appreciate the value and opportunity that the Latino market has to offer, not just for Hispanic Heritage Month, but all year round. The Crafty Chica® product line has been the biggest milestone in my career!”
Kathy is known for her glittery “Mexi-Boho” style on her blog, CraftyChica.com, and is inspired by her Mexican-American heritage. Her dramatic use of vivid color, combined with traditional images, has universal appeal.

She will visit stores in her home state of Arizona, as well as California and Texas. Aside from meeting customers, she will offer free Crafty Chica temporary tattoos, her favorite craft tips, and prizes.
