BURBANK, CA – September 19, 2016— (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Estrella TV, the only minority-owned Spanish language television network in the U.S., announces the new seasons of two of its hit shows: Night talk show “Noches Con Platanito,” and the 15th season of its talent competition show “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento,” both premiering September 19, 2016.
“Noches Con Platanito” is the only late night talk show format in Spanish language television that attracts Hollywood A-listers and Latino celebrities as they embark in promotional tours to talk about their latest films, TV shows and new album releases. For the past three years, Hispanic audiences have had their own choice for late night talk in prime time in the U.S. “Noches Con Platanito” has delivered hours of comedy sketches and entertainment to thousands of Hispanic viewers living in the U.S. and is the only show of its kind in Spanish language television.
“Noches Con Platanito” is hosted by international star and comedic genius Sergio Verduzco, AKA Platanito, and is co-hosted by actor-writer David Villalpando. The show features high profile artist interviews, great musical performances and a wide variety of entertaining games and sketches. The show’s ratings success has turned it into one of the most sought-after late night bookings for Hollywood and Latino celebrities alike.
This season will feature new and exciting games and the participation of big celebrities such as Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights) and Ryan Guzman (Step Up, The Boy Next Door opposite Jennifer Lopez) of ABC’s Notorious, and From AMC’S The Walking Dead, lead actor Steve Ogg, to name a few. “Noches Con Platanito” airs Monday through Thursday at 9:00 PM on Estrella TV.
“Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” is entering its 15th season on the air and is one of Estrella TV’s longest running and highest rated talent competition shows. The show holds auditions for thousands of contestants across the country in search of American’s next superstar.
“Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” boasts four superstar judges: recording star Ana Barbara, iconic radio and television personality Don Cheto, internationally-renowned music producer Pepe Garza and Grammy-nominated Regional Mexican superstar Gerardo Ortiz. Together, they make one person’s dreams come true with a $100,000 grand prize, along with career-launching support of LBI Media and Estrella TV.
