NEW YORK, NY – March 22, 2018 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – After winning three back-to-back Daytime EMMYs in 2016 and 2017, Gaby Natale and her TV show SuperLatina are returning for more. For a third year in a row, the National Television Academy of Arts and Sciences has nominated Natale and her show to two Daytime EMMY Awards in the Outstanding Daytime Talent in a Spanish Language Program and Outstanding Entertainment Program in Spanish categories, respectively. The independently produced show will compete against media heavyweights CNN and Univision.
“These nominations, for a third year in a row no less, are an honor and a validation of all the sacrifices that our small team makes to compete with the biggest players in our industry. Once again, we have proven that, as tough as it may be, it can be done”, said Natale.
Natale’s nomination comes on the heels of her recent inclusion in People en Español magazine’s 25 Most Powerful Latinas list and just a few months after the release of her bestselling book El Circulo Virtuoso, which debuted at the top spot of Amazon’s Hot New Releases in the Self-Help, Motivational and Business categories.
Natale shares the Outstanding Program nomination with Andres O. Suarez, her husband and co-executive producer of SuperLatina. “With these nominations, the Academy is sending a powerful message to every producer with a head full of out-of-the box ideas and crazy enough to put everything on the line to make them happen. The Daytime EMMYs Award Ceremony will take place April 29 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA.
