Presented by Prudential Financial, the bilingual 2016 convention consists of a multi-faceted, multi-day platform that includes in-depth social media training for reporters, a student journalist news project, a day devoted to exploring issues that impact Latinos in media and the third annual Media Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for Hispanic Journalists.

“Hispanicize is the perfect stage for launching a Spanish-language convention that many of our members have been requesting for a long time,” said Mekahlo Medina, president of the NAHJ.

“We’re honored to collaborate with NAHJ to show the power of our unity and to provide journalists with great, empowering content that is in language and in culture,” said Manny Ruiz, founder and creative director of the Hispanicize event. “All journalists attending the convention will get VIP, full access to virtually all Hispanicize sessions and events.”
