LOS ANGELES, CA – October 3, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – In recognition of the growing synergies between South Florida Latino influencers from the industries of marketing, blogging, journalism, film, music and tech, the Hispanicize companies today announced the launch of the Hispanicize Los Angeles city group.
“Hispanicize Los Angeles is unlike anything anybody has ever seen in the U.S. Hispanic space because it’s multi-industry focused, it regularly features physical gatherings that will be fun and creative and it complements and doesn’t compete with other Latino organizations”
The Facebook-based Hispanicize Los Angeles city group is a one-of-a-kind, ongoing platform for Latino influencers from these industries to routinely connect with each other online and, equally importantly, in person. Similar Hispanicize city groups also launched in Miami and New York City this week.
“Hispanicize Los Angeles is unlike anything anybody has ever seen in the U.S. Hispanic space because it’s multi-industry focused, it regularly features physical gatherings that will be fun and creative and it complements and doesn’t compete with other Latino organizations,” Manny Ruiz, chairman of the Hispanicize companies collective that owns Hispanicize 2015, the Latina Mom Bloggers network, Hispanicize Wire and the Hispanic PR Blog as well as a large interest in Being Latino. The Hispanicize L.A. city group is opened to Latino and non-Latinos alike.
THE LEADERSHIP TEAMS
Hispanicize Los Angeles is being led by Willy Villarreal of Edelman; Barney Santos of Unilever and the Latino Startup Alliance; Jose Villa of The Sensis Agency; and Lizza Monet Morales of XoxoLizza.com.
Each of the city group leaders is responsible for managing the local Facebook-based group and will also host monthly gatherings, which among other things will range from private jam sessions with LATIN GRAMMY winning artists to fishing tournaments and much more.
“We are inclusive, anti-clique and focused on making sure that every single Hispanicize L.A. activity always ties back to giving to the scholarship fund of HPRA Los Angeles,” said Ruiz.
