MIAMI, Florida – September 19, 2013 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – This motor-sports event which has taken place twice before in Colombia has been the most successful in Colombia’s history, and the most significant internationally-Star Race featuring some of the best drivers in the world racing in Colombia to support the programs that Formula Smiles Foundation offers to under privilege children in Juan Pablo’s home country. This year the All-Star race will take place November 30th in the city of Medellin, Colombia.

The foundation, created in 2003 by the Colombian racecar driver Juan Pablo Montoya and his wife Connie Freydell, supports through sports, physical activity and social management the improvement of quality of life of more than 6,000 children in five regions of Colombia. Thanks to initiatives such as the All-Stars Race, every year the Foundation is able to expand its’ footprint and the quality of services, achieving a position as a leader in the area of social responsibility in Colombia.
On November 30, motorsport stars will gather in Medellin, where a fast track has been traced in a cultural and events sector of the city in which international race car drivers from the United States and Europe will join several of Colombia’s up and coming stars who are succeeding around the world.
International stars invited to this event include Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Pastor Maldonado, Checo Perez, Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Kyle Bush, Danica Patrick, Jamie McMurray, Bryan Vickers, Marco Andretti and Will Power.
Among the Colombian racing stars confirmed at this time are Carlos Muñoz, Sebastian Saavedra, Manuela Vasquez, Gabby Chaves and Yonny Hernandez.

I think it will be very exciting to be in the Rotax karts along with other great national and international drivers. At the All-Star Race it will be the first-time that Juan Pablo will share a track with his eight-year old son Sebastian. “First and only time,” says Montoya.
