MIAMI, FL – December 23, 2015 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The Fundación El Larguero and the Fundación de Fútbol Profesional present the 20th anniversary of the Under-12 LaLiga Promises International Soccer Tournament with an exclusive U.S. stop in Miami at Ransom Everglades School from December 27 to December 29. Part of the LFP World Challenge program, the free, three-day tournament presents the best youth players from professional LaLiga’s clubs and other international clubs, with live entertainment and activities for the family.
Real Madrid symbol and La Liga’s Global Ambassador, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, will be on-site hosting soccer clinics and will play in the All Star Game on the final day. He will be joined by Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, and José Ramón de la Morena, president of the Fundación El Larguero.
The event, part of the LFP World Challenge, brings together 17 teams within the sub category 12. Seven of the teams are from Spain (Real Madrid CF, Club Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, RC Celta de Vigo, FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF y Valencia CF), three European (Borussia Dortmund, Juventus FC y Crystal Palace FC), and the remaining from outside Europe (Aspire Academy (QAT), Sagan Tosu (JAP), Chicago Fire SC (USA), CF América (MEX), Club Estudiantes (ARG), Orlando City SC (USA) and Weston FC (USA). LFP World Challenge is an initiative created in 2014 by LaLiga with the support of the Spanish Government, the Sports Council and the ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
