ORLANDO, FL – October 2, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – After two wildly successful Twitter Storm chats, several Latina social media influencers (Latina Influencers Coalition) are once again joining forces to host the third #UnidosPorPuertoRico Twitter Storm on Tuesday, October 3rd, at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT.
Organized in the hopes of bringing awareness to the urgent needs of Puerto Ricans on the island in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, tomorrow’s Twitter Storm will be attended by a group of high-profile Latinos comprised of authors, journalists, celebrities and activists , including: Lincoln Palomeque, Dayanara Torres, Zuleyka Rivera, Aleyda Ortiz, Doreen Colondres, Pili Montilla, Valery Ortiz, Periko y Jessi, Gaby Natale, Alexandra Olavarria, Doreen Colondres, La Gatita, Franco el Mas Franco, Jessi Le’ Belle, Elizabeth Lopez, Anna Azcona, MeliMel, Carlos Adyan, Christopher Millan, Silvana Arias, Sandra Itzel, Marger, and Leonardo Rocco.

What: A unified call-to-action to Congress members, media outlets, and advocacy organizations to keep asking for aid for Puerto Rico, and a reminder that the situation in Puerto Rico is a domestic humanitarian crisis occurring on American soil. We are also pushing for the Jones Act to be abolished in order to allow foreign aid to reach Puerto Ricans in dire need.
