
BURBANK, CA – August 2, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – LBI Media, Inc., the parent company of Estrella TV Network, Don Cheto Network, Fenomeno Studios, and the owner of ten television and seventeen radio stations across the country announces the newly created role of public relations and corporate affairs, spearheaded by corporate communications veteran Marco Antonio Gonzalez, effective July 13, 2016.
In this new capacity, Gonzalez will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy for LBI Media, Inc., and will also be responsible for handling all community affairs and media relations efforts. Gonzalez will also serve as official spokesperson for the company and will work closely with executives, show producers, talent, digital creators and radio programmers to showcase and promote the company’s ongoing entertainment offerings in both radio and TV sectors, as well as its new digital platform network Fenomeno Studios. Gonzalez will report to the chief operating officer of company, Winter Horton.

Gonzalez is a seasoned communications executive who recently served as senior director of corporate communications for Herbalife North America, and previously as director of corporate communications for Latin America for the same company. Prior to his work with Herbalife, he managed the national publicity division for Univision Records, where he developed and executed successful press campaigns for the record label in both the general market and Latino media sectors. Gonzalez holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from the Annenberg School for Journalism and Communications at the University of Southern California.
