The FREE event will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Altman Building, located at 135 West 18th Street. The theme of the Expo, “Improve Your Home, Improve Your Life” (Mejora Tu Casa, Mejora Tu Vida), focuses on helping Latino families create an aesthetically appealing, highly functional, and safe home environment. Guest presenters at workshops include lifestyle expert and writer Evette Rios, health and wellness advocate Dr. Helen Troncoso, and noted interior designer Martin Amado and Marlene Pratt, the co-founder of the CasaLatina.com website and brand. The Expo will also include a kid’s zone, cooking demonstrations and entertainment.
As a plumbing category exclusive partner, Moen will feature some of the company’s latest technology for the bath and kitchen designed to upgrade homes with little effort and expense.
