CHICAGO, IL – May 16, 2018 – (GLOBE NEWSWIRE – HISPANICIZE WIRE) – The book Autentico: The Definitive Guide to Latino Career Success which has been gathering success as a guide for millions of Latinx professionals, will be available in Spanish in November of 2018. The book contains important advice, key for the professional development of Latinos in the United States.
In its mission to promote conversations around essential issues regarding diversity and inclusion, co-authors Andres Tapia, senior partner at the global leadership and talent consulting firm Korn Ferry and executive director of diversity, as well as Dr. Robert Rodriguez, founder and president of the DRR Advisors consulting firm, specializing in the advancement of Latino talent, have begun a U.S. tour. The purpose of the tour is to promote the integration of more Latinos at the executive levels of the corporate sector.
The tour has been completely successful so far with presentations being held at prestigious companies such as Apple, Facebook, Associated Bank, Nielsen Corporation, AbbVie among others and professional Latino associations like the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibility (HACR), Latina Leadership Academy and the Consortium of Latino Employee Organizations (CLEO).
“It is an honor that these organizations have invited us to be able to share with their teams and members the mission we highlight in the book,” says Andres Tapia. “The 55 million Latinos in the United States, 40 million of which are Americans, are changing politics, the economy, and the workforce of this country,” he concludes.
Now more than ever, these conversations set the pace for future talks surrounding the value of diversity and multiculturalism.
“In every presentation, we share specific development strategies for the Latinx professional, and we simultaneously get feedback about the challenges they face,” says Dr. Robert Rodríguez. “That is how we integrate that information and keep current; this helps us prepare for future initiatives.”
