Méndez University System (AGMUS) is honored to be a sponsor of the Hispanicize Conference happening in Miami on April 17-19, 2018 at the JW Marriott in Downtown Miami. This conference brings together community and political Hispanic leaders from across the nation to discuss important issues such as education, digital outreach, community, and how to best engage with brands and corporations. This year Hispanicize will have a component that is very important for the Ana G. Méndez University System – Hispanicize U. This will be an expo on education and a job fair where the System’s unique Dual Language® model of education will shine among all other offerings. This model consists of teaching its courses alternating one week in Spanish and one week in English, focusing on generating skilled professionals in both languages.
AGMUS offers degrees at the associate, bachelor’s and master’s level. During this event, AGMUS will be the official sponsor of the two panels dedicated to Puerto Rican diaspora topics. There will also be a booth offering detailed information on different academic programs, such as Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Nursing, Social Work, and Business Administration with specialization in Accounting, Finance and Management, among others.
