MIAMI, FL – September 24, 2015 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Vme TV, the only national Spanish-language television network affiliated with public television stations, is adding two animated series in Spanish for preschoolers. Both programs, “Mouk” and “Kambu,” will join Vme TV’s morning block, Vme Niños, on October 5, 2015 and offer families entertaining educational programming for their little ones to enjoy.
Mouk
Mouk, the lovable bear, travels around the world with his friend Chavapa as the two buddies discover the world and its inhabitants. Children can join the two globetrotters as they discover the colorful world, meeting surprising characters, exploring breathtaking landscapes and learning about unknown traditions and foreign worlds. Preschoolers can explore the world with Mouk and Vme TV every day beginning Monday, October 5, 2015 at 7:45 a.m. E/P.
Kambu
Kambu is the new maildog in Mystery Island and he’s hungry to make friends. However, it’s going to be difficult; the inhabitants are more peculiar than he thought and the parcels keep piling up. Every morning, new mail and parcels arrive in the post office. Kambu and his friends have to deliver them to 6 distinctive and wondrous villages of ‘Mystery Island’. Vme TV’s youngest viewers can join in on Kambu’s funny adventures every Monday through Saturday at 9:15 a.m. E/P beginning October 5, 2015.
“’Mouk’ and ‘Kambu’ are programs that introduce children, at an early age, to concepts such as culture, reinforcing acceptance and learning through entertaining content that they can engage with,” said Doris Vogelmann, Vme TV’s vice-president of programming. “Vme Niños sees incredible value in exposing kids to these kinds of lessons from the get-go, as it encourages them to learn about diversity and allows them to experience the world through different perspectives.”
Vme Niños, Vme TV’s morning block, provides children’s favorites like ‘Plaza Sésamo’ and ‘Franny’s Feet’ in Spanish, assisting Hispanic-American parents with language and cultural retention in the bilingual home. Its diverse preschool programming is educational and trustworthy, emphasizing Vme TV’s core pillars and providing content that is enriching for even the youngest of audiences.
